KIDA EDUCATION SUPPORT SERVICES

KIDA recognizes the plight of children affected by HIV/AIDS and other social economic hazards which prevent them from growing into healthy, secure and useful members of society. It therefore gives an opportunity to the most needy who cannot afford to go to school by providing them with school fees, scholastic materials, and psycho-social support. This support runs from pre-primary level (Nursery) to University depending on the beneficiaries’ mental abilities and interests. There is an officer concerned with the program. She interacts with the children one by one or as a group, visits their homes and the schools they go to and engages with their care givers to ensure they have the right care. At the moment the program has 100 children
